I absolutely love what I do, but running my small business takes a huge amount of time.
When I’m not designing or making my pieces, I’m taking photographs, sourcing materials,  packaging orders, posting orders, sharing my work on social media, accounting, responding to emails and updating my website.
Sometimes it’s good to have a break to recharge the creative batteries! I’ve not had a holiday from work for many years, so this year  I gave myself a four week hiatus.
I’m now desperate to get back to making 🙂 So many ideas and the creative juices are flowing like the river Thames!
I’m currently working on a detailed barn owl piece which is something I’ve had on the back burner for a couple of years in various forms.
I’m hoping to make a few versions of this piece, including one of my bottle necklaces. Barn owls are such magical birds and it’s no wonder they have traditionally been linked to the spirit world.
