Although I’m very late to the party…. or auction in this case…. I’ve managed to get a piece made for the fundraiser for Herts wildlife monitors.
These leaping fox and crescent moon hoop earrings are entirely handmade from sterling silver. They are lovely and light, perfect for everyday, all day wear. They measure approx 25 mm wide and approx 37 mm to the top of the handmade ear wire. Each fox has been hand engraved with a ‘fur’ texture and the silver has been oxidised and brushed. Oxidisation is a surface treatment which will lighten with wear so the silver is given a layer of microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
The fundraising auction closes on the 28th February at 8pm and is taking place on the Sabs And Monitors Fundraising page on Facebook. Please feel free to join in the bidding fun and maybe even donate something yourself! You can find the auction here –
