So today was an important day for me …. I got married!
Of course I just had to make my own wedding ring and I didn’t have to think long about the design! I chose snails. I love snails and used to have tanks of them in my bedroom when I was young. They also symbolise perfectly the snail’s pace at which we decided to get married…..39 years 🙂
Created from 9ct gold and set with a gorgeous 4mm blue diamond, I simply had to incorporate my trademark moon and star in there too!
My husband’s ring was his late grandmother’s which is over a hundred years old. It was just given a very gentle polish so as not to remove any of it’s age-related marks, and amazingly it fit him without any adjustment….it was meant to be 🙂
