Description

These stunning oak leaf earrings are entirely handmade from sterling silver and have a lovely movement to them.
Each oak leaf has been cut by hand, textured, hand engraved and formed. They hang from a pair of gorgeous orange rose cut carnelians.
Each long ear wire is handmade from sterling silver wire and has a plastic stop to keep your earring safe.
The silver has been blackened, or oxidised, and then polished back. It is then given a layer of microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
All joins are soldered closed to prevent any part of these stunning earrings coming apart or getting lost.

Gemstone – approximately 9 mm x 7 mm rose cut carnelian
Size – approximately 10 mm wide x 40 mm long (excluding ear wire) or 10 mm x 62 mm to the top of the ear wire.
Earring wire thickness – standard 0.8 mm
