Handmade from recycled, sustainably sourced sterling silver, these stunning Moss Agate leaf earrings make a real statement.
The silver has been textured from a real leaf on both the front and back.
The settings for the Moss Agate gemstones are open to allow the light through to show off the lovely colour and natural ‘mossy’ inclusions.
The settings are attached to the leaf details by tiny rings which have been carefully soldered closed.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. The facing surface of the leaf dangle has been given a lovely satin finish. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I give the darkened silver a coat of lacquer followed by microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
These gorgeous earrings have a beautiful movement to them and are a comfortable weight to wear all day.
