A stunning handmade sterling silver band with a lovely Ethiopian opal.
The band has a deeply textured, hand forged, tree bark surface which has been oxidised and highlighted.
Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I seal all oxidised pieces with a layer of sealing lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
The pretty opal is held in a prong setting.
