‘The Oak And The Ivy’ Silver and 9ct Gold Green Tourmaline Leaf Rings

£115.00

Description

Rooted in old woodland lore and entwined with quiet magic, these Oak and Ivy rings draw on a pairing that has carried meaning through centuries of myth and folklore.

In European tradition, oak is the tree of strength, endurance, and sovereignty. Sacred to sky gods and lightning bearers, it was believed to anchor the energy of the heavens into the earth. Its leaves and acorns symbolise resilience, protection, and the steady, grounded power of growth over time. To wear oak is to carry a sense of inner strength,  a reminder of standing firm through seasons of change.
Ivy, by contrast, winds and weaves. Evergreen and ever-reaching, it has long been associated with fidelity, connection, and the unseen bonds between worlds. In folklore, ivy represents devotion and the ability to thrive in shadow as well as light. It clings, adapts, and endures, a symbol of loyalty, intuition, and the quiet persistence of life.

Together, oak and ivy form a powerful balance of strength and softness, rootedness and reach, structure and flow. In ancient symbolism, they were often paired to represent the union of opposites, masculine and feminine energies, the wild and the cultivated, the enduring and the evolving.

At the heart of each ring sits a stunning green tourmaline, set in a warm gold bezel like a captured drop of forest light. This stone has long been associated with vitality, heart energy, and alignment with the natural world. It is said to encourage growth, not just in the physical sense, but in spirit and intention, bringing a sense of renewal, courage, and openness.

Evoking a sense of the ancient grove, where oak roots run deep and ivy climbs toward the light, each ring is a quiet talisman of balance, resilience, and connection to the old, green magic of the earth.
