Entirely handmade from recycled, sustainably sourced sterling silver, these stunning oak leaf earrings are truly eye-catching.
Each leaf has been textured from a real leaf and then cut and formed by hand.
They hang from large emeralds, each in their own setting and attached by tiny rings which have been carefully soldered closed.
The earring hooks are made by hand and are soldered on to the earrings to prevent any part coming apart and getting lost.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I give the darkened silver a coat of lacquer followed by microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
These gorgeous earrings have a beautiful movement to them and are a comfortable weight to wear all day.
