Gorgeous Willow leaf drop earrings, entirely handmade from sustainably sourced, recycled sterling silver.
Each leaf has been textured from a real leaf and then cut by hand.
They each hang from a stunning marquise dark purple Amethyst and glorious green, round Peridot, each in their own setting and attached by tiny rings which have been carefully soldered closed. The backs of the settings are open to allow the light to show off the beautiful colour of the stones.
The earring hooks have been handmade and soldered on to the earrings to prevent any part coming apart and getting lost.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I give the darkened silver a coat of lacquer followed by microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
These gorgeous earrings have a beautiful movement to them and are a comfortable weight to wear all day.
