It’s that time of year again when we are getting foxes calling to one another in our garden, and who are starting to pair up for the mating season.
This ring is inspired by this recent activity and the gorgeous red foxes we are seeing.
Two foxes bound toward a gorgeous rectangular rose cut Hessonite Garnet in a silver setting.
‘Red Foxes’ is entirely hand fabricated and forged from thick sterling silver.
The ring has been deeply textured, oxidised and polished. Oxidisation is a surface treatment which will lighten with wear. I seal all oxidised pieces with a layer of sealing lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
