Under the moon, among the stars, ‘Celestial Hare’ is constructed entirely from sustainably sourced, recycled silver.
Decorated with multiple tiny hearts inside a polished border, she hangs from a crescent moon with a matching background, and has matching stars dangling from her feet.
She hangs from a paperclip style sterling silver chain which has been finished with one of my handmade clasps.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. I give all oxidised areas a coat of sealing lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
