Across the sleeping hills of the English countryside, a silver hare leaps among the grass. 
In folklore the hare is a creature of twilight and moonlight, a messenger of magic, seen only in fleeting moments as it runs between worlds. Long associated with the moon, femininity, and intuition, the hare is often linked to the goddess Eostre, who symbolizes rebirth and renewal. A sacred and mystical animal to the Celts who saw them as a symbol of abundance, prosperity and good fortune, they were treated with great respect. 

‘The Keeper Of The Moonlit Fields’ is attached to a paper clip style 18″ sterling silver chain which is detailed with silver and moonstone beads. This is finished with one of my handmade silver clasps.
The silver has been textured, oxidised, brushed and highlighted. 
Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will  lighten with wear. All oxidised areas are sealed with a layer of lacquer and waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
