As the evening draws to a close, four graceful hares gather to enchant us with their dance…

Each hare has been meticulously hand pierced from multiple layers of sterling silver and is engraved by hand.
Two of the hares are detailed with hand pierced crescent moons.
The piece is set with a large focal pear amethyst and two round amethysts. There is much fake amethyst around, but these are 100% natural, genuine stones.
The sterling silver chain is finished with a heart shaped lobster clasp. The necklace measures approximately 18″ overall.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. All oxidised pieces are given a coat of lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
