This teeny tiny badger cub is handmade from multiple layers of meticulously hand cut silver.
Measuring just 18mm wide he  carries a tiny hand cut crescent moon on his back.
Bertie understands the importance of protecting the natural world, which is why he is proud to be handmade from sustainably sourced, recycled sterling silver.
He is hand engraved and hangs from an 18″ sterling silver chain finished with one of my hand made clasps.
The silver has been oxidised and lightly highlighted. 
Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. I give all of my oxidised pieces a coat of sealing lacquer followed by microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.

As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
