A stunning statement pendant hand crafted from multiple layers of meticulously hand pierced sterling silver.
This piece is inspired by the legend surrounding Dragon Hill, an ancient and rare natural chalk mound with an artificially flattened top which sits directly below the Uffington White Horse. 
According to legend, Saint George slew the dragon here and a bare patch of chalk, upon which no grass will grow, is said to be where the dragon’s blood was spilled. If you look carefully, you can see a similar white patch on the right hand side of the gorgeous Bloodstone ‘hill’.
‘Dragon Hill’ is detailed with a  soaring dragon pierced into the backplate and is available with or without the 18″ sterling silver ‘Spirit’ chain, which is finished with my handmade silver clasp.

The White Horse is carved into a textured hill, beneath a 9ct gold crescent moon, and inside a Gothic arched frame.
The arch is detailed with hand cut leaves and stems, and set with a tiny fine blue moonstone.
Blue Moonstone and silver beads hang below the piece creating a lovely sense of movement.

‘Dragon Hill’ has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear.
All oxidised areas are given a coat of sealing lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the darkened surface.
This is a weighty statement piece and carries my maker’s mark and hallmark.

As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the necklace coming apart or getting lost.
