A unique handmade sterling silver necklace depicting a partial Solar Eclipse.
The sun peaks out from behind a stunning crescent moon Labradorite gemstone, set in a silver setting.
In certain light this stone has the most amazing colours, with shades of blue, green and gold.
The reverse of the necklace is detailed with two pierced stars which allow the blue hues of the Labradorite to show through, and a silver crescent moon. 

The silver has been oxidised, highlighted and polished. Oxidisation is a surface treatment which will lighten with wear.
All oxidised areas are given a coat of sealing lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the darkened surface.
‘Eclipsed’ hangs from one of my substantial ‘Wicca’ silver chain finished with one of my handmade silver clasps.

As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the necklace coming apart or getting lost.
