‘Purple Skies’ is another in my series of unique silver and glass bottle necklaces. 
Surrounded by hand cut silver clouds, a hand cut silver raven soars into the twilight sky.
Designed to be worn with either side visible, on the reverse sits a large silver crescent moon.
An oval amethyst is set on top, matching the purple of the bottle.
Amethyst is believed to be a natural tranquiliser, to help dispel rage, manage fears and anger, and calm anxiety.
Each element of the silverwork has been meticulously hand pierced from sterling silver and hand formed and soldered.
The silver has been textured, oxidised and highlighted, then lacquered and waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
The silver cap contains a plastic thread which screws onto the glass bottle.
‘Purple Skies’ hangs from one of my 18″ sterling silver ‘Spirit’ chains, finished with handmade fixings.

Your glass bottle can be filled with special tiny treasures, from a lock of hair, small crystals, ashes, sand from your favourite beach, or dried petals from a special flower.
Each bottle also comes with an optional rollerball insert which also makes the bottle suitable for perfume or essential oils.

This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker’s mark as issued by Goldsmiths of London – this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
