‘The Autumn Moon’ is a real statement piece, depicting a moon gazing fox in a countryside landscape.
The wistful fox sits by the old Oak tree, contemplating the autumn moon.
Constructed from multiple layers of meticulously hand pierced sterling silver, he is full of hand created texture and detail. The landscape is also created from layers of hand cut silver and detailed with grass, an Oak tree, stars and solid 9ct red gold crescent moon.
A shadowbox pendant, this piece has recessed depth, with the fox sitting in an arched silver ‘window’ which features an 8mm garnet and 41 falling autumn leaves. Each leaf has been hand cut and soldered.
Four hand wrapped garnet beads and eight silver beads hang beneath giving a lovely movement to the pendant.

The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. All oxidised areas are given a coat of lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the darkened surface.
‘The Autumn Moon’ hangs from a substantial sterling silver ‘Talisman’ chain finished with one of my handmade silver clasps and a garnet and silver bead drop. This chain can be worn at approximately 18″ or 20″.
This weighty statement piece carries my maker’s mark and hallmark, and comes gift boxed.
