This stunning light weight pendant is perfect for everyday wear.
The crescent moon is handmade from deeply textured sterling silver and hangs from a hidden bail on the reverse.
A gorgeous blood red marquise rose cut garnet sits in the centre with four hand cut and highly polished flying bats.
The pendant hangs from an 20″ long link style sterling silver chain which has been finished with one of my handmade clasps.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. I give all oxidised areas a coat of sealing lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the pendant coming apart or getting lost.
