Entirely handmade from layers of sterling silver, ‘Talisman’ is my homage to my ever growing feather collection.
Detailed with hand engraved veins, the silver feather hangs freely beneath a gorgeous freeform rose cut opal.
With its mesmerizing play of colours, opal has been revered for centuries as a stone of mystery, magic, and spiritual significance.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted.
Oxidised areas are treated with a special lacquer and then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
‘Talisman’ hangs from an 18″ sterling silver chain finished with one of my handmade clasps.
This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker’s mark as issued by Goldsmiths of London – this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
