A stunning statement piece,  ‘The Opal Talisman’ is cut, engraved and formed by hand.
This gorgeous feather pendant hangs from a stunning freeform rose cut Opal in a silver setting.
This stone has gorgeous colour play with reds, greens and golds.
The silver been oxidised, or darkened, and then highlighted to accentuate the details.
Oxidised areas are treated with a special sealing lacquer and then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
‘The Opal Talisman’ hangs from one of my 18″ sterling silver ‘Spirit’ chains which is finished with my handmade clasps.
