Magpies have always carried a little bit of mystery with them. Clever, curious and unmistakable, they appear in folklore as birds of both good fortune and mischief.

We have a pair of Magpies who visit our garden every day and these unique hoop earrings pay homage to these beautiful, intelligent birds.
Entirely handmade, each Magpie is hand cut and shaped from layers of silver, before being hand engraved.
They soar on a textured silver hoop.
The silver has been oxidised, highlighted and brushed. It is then sealed with a layer of lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
Each ear wire is handmade from sterling silver.
A little bit of woodland folklore to wear.

Size – approximately 25 mm wide x 25 mm (approx 30 mm x 48 mm to the top of the ear wire)
Earring wire thickness – standard 0.8 mm
