High above the tree tops, up among the clouds, a Red Kite soars towards the glittering 9ct gold sun.
‘Red Kite’ is a unique silver pendant, full of minute details, inspired by the Kites who fly over the mature trees outside our house.
Handmade from sustainable, recycled sterling silver and 9ct gold, every element of the pendant has been meticulously hand pierced and engraved.
The Kite himself is constructed from multiple layers of meticulously hand pierced sterling silver and is full of hand engraved texture and detail.
He flies in a sky scene of hand engraved tree tops in front of a solid gold sun.

‘Red Kite’ is available with or without the 18″ sterling silver ‘Unity’ chain with handmade fastenings.
As with all of my pieces, each and every jump ring is soldered closed to prevent any piece of the necklace coming apart or getting lost.

The silver has been oxidised and brushed. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. All oxidised areas are given a coat of sealing lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the darkened surface.
This statement piece carries my maker’s mark and hallmark, and comes gift boxed, perfect for giving.
