Description
High above the tree tops, amongst the clouds, a Red Kite soars towards a glittering 9ct yellow gold sun.
Handmade from sustainable, recycled sterling silver and gold, ‘Red Kite’ is handmade from layers of meticulously hand pierced sustainable, recycled sterling silver and gold.
Every element is hand cut and engraved, from the Kite’s wings, to each leaf and tree top.
‘Red Kite’ has been oxidised and brushed, then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
‘Red Kite’ hangs from an 18″ sterling silver ‘Spirit’ chain finished with one of my handmade clasps.
This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker’s mark as issued by Goldsmiths of London – this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
