Don’t you feel that there’s magic in the tiny things you might otherwise walk straight past? A fallen twig, a pair of leaves, or a little snail making its slow way along a branch after the rain. Things we often don’t see, unless we stop, and look, carefully.

Imagine being a snail, a tiny nomad, carrying your home wherever you wander, having a unique vision of your world.

My handmade silver necklace captures that small moment. Two carved moss agate leaves growing from a twig and a little snail making its way along it. The moss-like markings in the stones bring to mind tiny patches of green beneath the trees, each one a little different from the next.

This piece is for those who love the wilder corners of nature, and the small, unexpected things that make a walk in the woods feel special.

The silver has been oxidised and highlighted. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear. I give all oxidised areas a coat of sealing lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.

This piece carries a full set of UK hallmarks and my maker’s mark as issued by Edinburgh Assay – this is your guarantee of quality and silver purity.
