‘Red Kite’ is an amazingly detailed, wide sterling silver and gold statement ring.
Entirely handmade from multiple layers of meticulously hand pierced sterling silver, every element is hand cut and engraved, from the Kite’s wings, to every leaf and tree top.
In a sky of clouds and tree tops, the Red Kite soars towards the glittering 9ct yellow gold sun.

The ring has been oxidised and brushed to highlight the details. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I give all oxidised pieces a coat of sealing lacquer and then microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
