Description
An entirely handmade sterling silver ring forged from fused sterling silver, a technique which gives a unique surface texture.
The lightly tapered ends of the band hold a pretty Ethiopian opal in between, like a glistening relic peeking out of the earth.
This stone has beautiful red and green colour play in certain light.
The silver has been oxidised and highlighted.
Oxidisation is a surface treatment that will lighten with wear. I seal all oxidised pieces with a layer of sealing lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface.
