Description

The Norse God, Odin, had two Ravens upon whom he bestowed the power of speech – Huginn, meaning “thought” and Muninn, meaning “memory”.
Odin relied heavily on his Ravens to act as his eyes and ears over the great domain he ruled, and the battles he fought. Each morning at sunrise they were sent off to fly throughout the nine realms to gather information.

In the evening they returned to Odin in Asgard, to sit on his shoulders and pass on to him everything they had witnessed or heard.

Entirely handmade, each Raven is created from layers of meticulously hand cut silver, with hand engraved details.
They soar on a textured silver hoop.
The silver has been oxidised, highlighted and brushed. It is then sealed with a layer of lacquer and microcrystalline wax to help protect the oxidised surface. Oxidisation is a surface treatment that can lighten with wear.
Each ear wire is handmade from sterling silver.
These unique earrings are a perfect weight for everyday wear.
